A PennHIP training workshop is being held 3 December 2009, Cambridge, England. The seminar consists of 7 hours of lecture covering the current understanding of canine hip dysplasia with specific emphasis on the science to support the PennHIP radiographic procedure. Ample opportunity will be provided for practice of the technique through the use of bone and simulated mechanical models.
“Hands-free” Radiographic Procedure
Mike Guilliard, a UK PennHIP certified
veterinarian, has developed a simple and inexpensive method of hands-free restraint
of dogs for PennHIP radiography. This system will allow UK veterinarians to
comply with radiation safety regulations and still produce PennHIP radiographs.
We hope you will join us in this history-making event by registering for the
PennHIP training workshop and becoming certified to perform the PennHIP procedure.
Only UK Workshop in 2009/2010:
This is the ONLY scheduled PennHIP
training workshop in the UK for 2009/2010 and you are encouraged to take advantage
of the cost savings of the ‘local’ venue.
